Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a Huddersfield based client who operate internationally and are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to join their business.
Our client is looking for a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Senior Finance Manager/Accountant and we feel would ideally suit a first time mover from practice.

Our client is looking for a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Senior Finance Manager/Accountant and we feel would ideally suit a first time mover from practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements, in accordance with IFRS.
- Full ownership of the month-end close process ensuring on time delivery of all internal and external reporting requirements.
- Responsibility for the accuracy and control of the General Ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Manage and oversee VAT compliance and reporting.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
- Key point of contact for annual statutory and control audits
- Key point of contact for external tax partners
- Cashflow reporting and forecasting.
- Management and development of accounting team
- Support of projects and initiatives as assigned, providing financial expertise and governance.
- Support wider finance team as appropriate as a senior member of the team
