Part Qualified Fund Accountant l £30-35k | Manchester |Property l Study Support |Hybrid

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s largest and most established property investment companies who are looking to add a Part Qualified Fund Accountant to their progressive and high calibre team. The Junior Fund Accountant will be responsible for providing financial support and the core focus of the post holder will be the management of service providers, statutory reporting and returns.

Salary: £30-35k

Location: Manchester

Main Duties:
  • Monthly and quarterly investor reporting, ensuring fund administrators maintain accurate accounts and the information provided is reflective of business insights.
  • Co-ordinate the various outsourced service providers, ensuring all reports and returns are submitted in a timely manner within agreed deadlines.
  • Reconciling of all shareholder purchase and sales requests to client accounts
  • Ensuring all compliance reporting is completed to deadline.
  • Provide support with the audit and review of the company accounts.
  • Review NAV calculations and dividend distribution calculations.
  • Manage the fund bank accounts and maintain the cash flow forecast.
  • Contribute to the content, production and compilation of the quarterly board reports.
Experience:
  • Experience working in funds either directly, from a fund administrator or a professional services firm is essential
  • Demonstrable experience working in a fast paced finance team
  • Commercially minded, with experience on KPI reporting.
  • Experience of working within the property management industry (including property development and/or lettings) or experience with publicly listed organisations would be advantageous
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified/working towards qualification.
  • Delivery of management accounts and reporting packs into the business
  • Ability to structure and process data and financial information and draw insightful conclusions from it
  • Exceptional IT literacy skills with demonstrable Excel experience
  • Confident, clear and open communicator, building trust with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Tackles challenges head-on, enjoys finding solutions and is never satisfied with the status quo
  • Diligent about detail, with an aptitude to work quickly and accurately
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, with an aptitude for delivering results under pressure
