Legal Cashier | Central Manchester | Professional Services | Multiple Vacancies | 3-6 months temp to perm

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an outstanding professional services firm who are looking to onboard a couple of Legal Cashiers into their already highly successful finance function. The client is looking for candidates with previous experience within a professional/corporate environment.

Salary: £28,000 - £40,000

Location: Central Manchester

Responsibilities
  • Managing client accounts and allocating client’s cash in accordance with SAR
  • Calculating Client Account Interest
  • Preparing and authorising all types of outgoing online electronic bank transfers
  • CTO, OTC and CTC transactions
  • Accounts Rules and AML compliance at all times
  • Updating the Breach Log when required
  • Reviewing Residential Client Account Balances
  • Liaising with Clients and suppliers in relation to cash allocation
  • Dealing with Suspense Account allocating cash/returning funds
  • Handling Client funds in Less, Escrow and DDA accounts
  • Currency Conversations
  • Assistance with end of year Audit, collating transaction evidence
  • Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in both Client and Office Account
  • Circulate daily balance and office receipts to senior management
  • Support daily reconciliations of all bank accounts to ensure accurate records paying particular attention to the SAR compliance
Person Specification:
  • Experience of SAR
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to perform other finance roles
  • Team player
  • Passion and enthusiasm to learn with a ‘can-do’, self-starting attitude
  • High level of inputting accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Able to organise own workload and to reprioritise at short notice to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, must be able to speak to internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner, representing the team and wider department
