Axon Moore are working with a well-established organisation in Preston. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Central and Power BI Consultant on an interim basis to take a key role in enhancing our data management and reporting capabilities during a 6 month project.
Position Overview: We are looking for an interim Business Central and Power BI Consultant with a proven track record in integrating data models into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and advancing Power BI reporting and data analysis.

Position Overview: We are looking for an interim Business Central and Power BI Consultant with a proven track record in integrating data models into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and advancing Power BI reporting and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrating data models into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements.
- Develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
- Create and manage data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Implement best practices in data visualisation and analytics within Power BI.
- Work on data enrichment and cleansing processes to ensure high data quality.
- Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on effective use of Power BI reports.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, models, and reports.
- Qualified accountant / ACCA / CIMA / ACA.
- Proven experience in implementing and customising Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Expertise in Power BI report development and data visualisation.
- Strong data modelling skills.
- Microsoft certifications in Business Central and Power BI.
- Experience with data integration tools.
