Financial Risk and Controls Analyst.

Axon Moore is pleased to partner with a leading Liverpool-based organisation to recruit a Financial Risk and Controls Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with the Risk Manager and Financial Director to evaluate and enhance financial controls.

Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to ensure robust financial controls and effective risk management.
• Document and assess financial processes.
• Test and optimize the effectiveness of controls.
• Coordinate with IT on system upgrades and automation efforts.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.

This position is ideal for ACA-qualified professionals—preferably with an audit background—who are eager to advance their careers in a supportive and rewarding environment.

You should possess a strong understanding of the financial control environment, with experience in documenting controls, processes, and recommending improvements.

Solid technical accounting skills are essential.
