Financial Accountant | South Manchester | Manufacturing | £50,000-£70,000 | Hybrid
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis for a highly acquisitive, AIM listed organisation who are currently seeking an ACA Qualified Accountant to join their strong finance team.
This manufacturer, and retailer are at the forefront of their industry, with outstanding group performance and are embarking on a five year business plan that will provide significant organic growth.
The role is ideally suited for an ACA Qualified Accountant. With Group reporting at its core, I am looking for any individual who have run group audits, or are currently working in industry in a group capacity.
The role will report to the Group Financial Controller and will hold a wide range of technical finance responsibilities, coupled with the opportunity to embark on finance wide projects to improve processes and implement new systems. The FC is keen to bring someone in with an appetite to drive initiatives and make a long term impact in the business.
Salary: £50,000-£70,000

Main Duties:
- Provide technical support for wider finance team.
- Ad-hoc statutory support for external partners.
- Monthly statutory accounts, balance sheet and cashflow.
- Partnering alongside none-finance stakeholders to support with any finance queries.
- Take ownership of IFRS 16 lease accounts.
- Write papers for IFRS 15 contracts, supporting external partners.
- Support external tax partners when required.
- Provide insight for wider group entities overseas.
- ACA Qualified.
- Experience working on group consolidations is essential.
- Experience with IFRS 15 and 16 is desirable.
- Multiple currency experience is desirable.
- Experience working in Manufacturing is desirable.
- Strong Excel capability.
- Excellent communicator.
- Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
