Axon Moore are working with a large manufacturing business based in Carrington to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance team. This role in their shared service centre will look after 3 entities part of a larger organisation. The company has been hugely successful, providing stability, growth and exposure in the role.
You will be reporting to the Financial Accounts Manager supporting the team with various accounting duties. To succeed in this role, you will need to be pro-active and hardworking with a driven and positive personality. You will also want to be driving towards become qualified and want to progress internally in the business.
Salary and Benefits:
£30-34k per annum, 5% bonus, 24 days’ holiday plus banks, hybrid working 3 days in the office after a successful probation period, free on-site parking, study support, pension. Other benefits are available on request.

Your Role:
- Manage the month end process for the 3 entities of the business
- VAT/Plastic Tax returns
- Processing CAPEX invoices and CAPEX reporting
- Supporting intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting KPI reporting
- Treasury tasks and supporting P11d/PSA reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- One bill processing
- Group costs variance analysis
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting role is preferred
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Excellent IT skills
- SAP experience is preferable
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and manage a wide range of activities, working to strict deadlines
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
