The Company
Axon Moore are working with a large marketing business based in Manchester city centre to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance team. The business is part of a larger organisation and has been hugely successful, providing stability, growth and exposure in the role.
You will be reporting to the Senior Management Accountant covering the European region. You will support with the production of management accounts, cash-flows, balance sheet recs, budgeting and analysis. This is a multi-lingual and multi-currency environment.
Salary and Benefits:

Your Role:
- Support in the production of management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with cash-flow forecasting
- Analysis and reporting
- Analyse financial data to identify and resolve any issues and to explain any variances from budget or forecast
- Support the annual budget and periodic forecast process
- Identify and make recommendations on system and control improvements
- Identification of areas where profit could be maximised through cost savings or other relevant measures
- Work on ad hoc projects as required
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant Management Accountant role
- Studying for a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Competent user of MS Excel for data preparation and analysis, with a clear and methodical style
- Experience in multi-national companies would be beneficial
- Proactive, organised individual comfortable working to set deadlines
- Confident and approachable
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
