Axon Moore are delighted to be partnered with a fast-growing, and energetic company with a head office based in Wakefield, looking to fill a temporary gap in their team, through the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant for a 6-12 month period.
This company have recently been left with a gap in their team, due to progression of other staff, and so are looking to fill the gap in their team swiftly.

The Job:
- Responsible for preparing and filing of all statutory accountant to deadline and to appropriate accounting standards
- Ensure the preparation/filing of all other regulatory information as required
- Review entity VAT returns
- Manage relationships with auditors, business unit management and other stakeholders as necessary to drive adherence to deadlines.
- Maintains and documents internal accounting controls
- May assistant in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue
- Provides guidance and support for both internal and external audits (ad hoc, quarterly and annual)
- Provides guidance and support for system conversions, integration's and other special projects
- Other duties as assigned

- Good IT skills with (at minimum level) intermediate MS Excel skills
- Ability to learn new/changed systems and processes quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at different levels of the organisation

- Thorough and methodical thinker
- Strong team player
- Flexibility and ability to evolve in a changing environment
- £26,000 - £30,000 p.a.
