We are keen to recruit a like-minded individual to join our successful, Transactional & Part-Qualified desk as a Trainee Consultant. Previous sector experience, whilst desirable, is not a pre-requisite. The Role

Reporting to the Transactional and Part-Qualified Team Manager and working within our Yorkshire finance recruitment team, you will be a key part of a team that discovers and engages exceptional talent for our demanding client base. Solving hiring challenges and enabling outstanding careers will give you genuine job satisfaction.
  • On an ongoing basis identify, source and approach the very best talent around. Constantly regenerating our network of active and passive candidates via soft referrals, networking and headhunting

  • Develop effective and original routes to market via social networking and relevant interest Groups

  • Meet candidates; judging their suitability for roles, preparing them for interview, offering career advice and guidance

  • Most importantly, build trust and establish ongoing relationships with candidates

  • Build and develop strong working relationships with candidates

  • Market map and identify potentially suitable candidates from our network, CRM system, LinkedIn, industry associations and market knowledge

  • Contact and engage with candidates

  • Develop profiles and reference candidates

  • Attend client meetings and presentations

  • Take job briefs from clients and proactively take to market

  • Advertise roles via Linkedin, Indeed and relevant job boards

  • Conduct a thorough search based on the client brief, presenting shortlists quickly whilst ensuring the quality of content is up to a high standard

  • Arranging interviews and taking feedback

  • Offer management and subsequent after care

  • Proactively market top candidates

  • Keep an ongoing record of top candidates and become a subject matter expert in your area

  • Developing existing client relationships in additional to creating new ones

  • Networking, marketing and face to face meetings

Out And About
This is not a desk bound role. We’ll encourage you to be out and about the region; meeting, networking our advocates and prospective clients, as well as meeting and building relationship with candidates.

  • Experience of research and/ or the accountancy and finance sector would be advantageous
