Subcontract Ledger Clerk | £25,000 – £32,000 | Blackburn + Hybrid | Supportive management team | Fantastic working culture
Axon Moore have partnered with a fantastic company in Blackburn which has witnessed significant growth in recent years and, as such, are seeking an assured Subcontract Ledger Clerk who is able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be well suited to an experienced and personable candidate who possesses exceptional organisational, numerical and computer skills, is able to communicate confidently and is capable of building long-lasting working relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Raising subcontract orders
- Inputting invoices into the system
- Handling subcontractor inquiries and queries
- Obtaining and reconciling supplier statements
- Managing the approval process of subcontractors and setting up new suppliers
- Issuing payments to subcontracts and maintaining regular communication
- Liaising with subcontractors via email and telephone
- CIS month end reporting
- Undertaking other ad-hoc finance duties as required
- At least 2 years experience working within subcontract ledgers
- Self motivated, pro-active approach to problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Accurate and efficient inputting of data
- Good IT Skills
