Our client is a local, well established business located in the South Leeds area, with a parking facility. They require a Bookkeeper to join their team, to support with the Accounts preparation and Bookkeeping tasks.
The successful candidate will have gained accounts experience within a fast paced SME.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you will be involved in:
- Sales ledger – allocation of payments by cheque and BACS
- Raising statements
- Reconciliation of payments
- Dealing with queries
- Credit Control – chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
- Payroll
- Purchase Ledger
- VAT
- Ideally AAT PQ / Qualified or QBE Qualified by experience
- Have strong accounting and/or bookkeeping skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with confidence with minimum supervision
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Have experience in a hands on role in a fast paced SME
- Payroll experience is a bonus, though not essential.
