Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a high growth PE backed company as they look to strengthen their Finance Team with the recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Team Leader. Having established themselves as a market leader over the last 5 years, the business has expanded very rapidly, so it is an exciting time to join!
This is a hands on role where you will be strengthening the Purchase Ledger Function, managing a team of 7 assistant, developing processes and systems. Your key duties will include:

This is a hands on role where you will be strengthening the Purchase Ledger Function, managing a team of 7 assistant, developing processes and systems. Your key duties will include:
- Full management of the accounts payable process, ensuring suppliers are paid according to payment terms
- Direct management of the purchase ledger team including performance management, mentoring, motivating, training and development
- Manage all escalations and high-level queries
- Taking ownership of the smaller ledgers
- Work with stakeholders throughout the business
- Month end reporting and reconciliations
- VAT
- Sub contractor payments
Key requirements for the role:
- Management experience
- Hands on and able to take ownership
- Dynamic, confident in a fast paced role
- Confident communication skills
- Have previous knowledge/experience of ERP Systems
