Purchase Ledger Clerk | £25,000 - £27,000 + Study | Bolton + Hybrid | PE-backed business | High-calibre team

Axon Moore delighted to be partnering with an ambitious, high-growth PE-backed business in Bolton to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their specialist team in a broad role responsible for invoicing, queries, creditor management, bank reconciliations and much more.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manage the accounts payable inbox and resolve any queries
  • Manage and analyse creditor ledger
  • Sending remittances
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Processs/controls improvement and review
  • Setting up and managing supplier accounts
  • Ensuring correct VAT applied to all raised invoices
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc duties
Required Experience and Skills:
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time-keeping skills
  • High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Prior exposure to month-ends
