Role Overview
Axon Moore are working on behalf of a rapidly growing, acquisitive organisation based in the Stockport area who are looking for a strong Management Accountant to join this ambitious team.
The role will report directly to the Finance Director, and hold a broad remit across Management Accountants, Business Partnering and mentorship of a junior team.
Given the nature of the organisations growth, this is a fantastic opportunity if you have a strong background in management accounts, and keen to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment with commercial exposure.
We are keen to speak with either Qualified by Experience, or CIMA/ ACCA Qualified Accountants who are seeking an opportunity in a fast paced, acquisitive business with a leadership team that will support your aims and ambitions as you grow your career.

Responsibilities
- Play an active role in the month end and year end account reporting.
- Lead on the continual preparation and collation of revenue recognition reports.
- Process appropriate prepayment journals to ensure revenue and gross margin are accurately reported.
- Prepare monthly management pack to support EBITDA performance.
- Business Partner with other departments to provide financial guidance aligning to business objectives.
- Variance analysis between actual and budgeted forecast figures.
- Process end-to-end account transactions.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation and reviews.
- Maintain accruals and prepayment schedules on the balance sheet.
- Assist in providing management with accurate and timely information.
- Provide mentorship support to junior members of the team.
- Prepare and review of quarterly VAT returns for multiple entities.
- ACCA, CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
- Experience working in a fast paced, changing environment is essential.
- Strong communicator with evidence of working in a business partner capacity.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is desirable.
- Strong communicator looking to work in a vibrant environment
