This role is ideal for a ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with robust technical accounting skills who is keen on thriving in a dynamic, rapidly evolving work environment. Experience in Sage Intacct reporting and prior exposure in an international business dealing with compliance and foreign currencies is advantageous.
The role can be either part-time 4 days a week or full time and includes hybrid/ flexible working - 2 days a week in office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and customising finance system (Sage Intacct) reporting to meet the business’ management accounts and reporting requirements.
- Lead on acquisition accounting and financial systems integration of newly acquired entities.
- Production of reliable monthly global balance sheet and cash flow consolidations.
- Communications with external advisors to ensure compliance with Global reporting and compliance requirements of acquired entities.
- Support process and system transformations including the integration with Sage Intacct.
- Lead on technical accounting requirements in line with accounting standards.
- Support the forecasting and budgeting process, providing information and analysis where required.
- Assist with preparing working papers and financial statements for year-end and the Group audit.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (qualified by experience will also be considered).
- Sound understanding of up to date accounting standards including FRS 102.
- Previous experience working in an international business, dealing with foreign currencies is desirable.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Sage reporting.
