Axon Moore are currently partnering with a forward thinking organisation based near Sheffield in the appointment of a Financial Reporting Manager.
The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring sounds financial controls are in place and statutory reporting requirements are adhered to, whilst ensuring the team has visionary leadership and their output aligns to the overall strategy of the finance function.

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring sounds financial controls are in place and statutory reporting requirements are adhered to, whilst ensuring the team has visionary leadership and their output aligns to the overall strategy of the finance function.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the production of annual financial statements and run the year end process
- Lead the team overseeing the core financial control requirements including reconciliations, balance sheet reporting, cash flows
- Overseeing cash management and treasury duties
- Responsible for VAT submissions
- Playing a key role in the ongoing change, transformation and business improvement initiatives
- Qualified finance leader with a strong financial controls background (ideally ACA or ACCA Qualified)
- Experience leading a team, ideally in industry, consisting of part qualified and qualified reports
- A desire to make an impact, be proactive and add value to the overall organisation
