Finance Director
West Lancashire based with only 1 day required in the office
c.£90,000-£100,000 plus Bonus and Car
Axon Moore are exclusively retained on an exciting Finance Director search for a Leading Professional Services business based in the Wigan area.
The successful Finance Director will be a No.1 to an incredibly strong finance team and work alongside/business partner the Managing Director to take the business forward.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
You will ideally be a technically strong, practice trained ACA/ACCA however CIMA will be considered with relevant sector experience.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Ensure the delivery of financial accounts, monitoring performance, reviewing actual to budget, and controlling the forecasting process.
- Liaise with the external auditors during year end process
- Build and solidify third party relationships to ensure compliance, regulatory and statutory requirements and standards are adhered to, including auditors, banks, suppliers and advisors.
- Drive the implementation of forward-thinking, strategic business plans in partnership with the Managing Director to enable growth.
- Risk Management: Maintaining regulatory financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management. Carry out detailed financial analysis of the main drivers and risks of the business’s success.
- Lead and manage team of 10 Accounts professionals including training and appraisals
- Manage all accounting functions across multiple departments, utilising extensive and exemplary accounting competencies.
