They’re a large profitable private equity backed corporate who are continuing to invest and expand their regional operations. They’ve been growing throughout the pandemic and have significantly grown their revenue in the past year, leading to a need to insert a greater level of financial leadership at the top of their division.
About this role:
As part of this growth, they have created a new Commercial Financial Controller vacancy to ensure that the appropriate processes, controls, processes and reporting is in place, and to ensure the business has the right level of strategic and commercial support going forwards.
This vacancy will suit a qualified candidate coming from a large business background with numerous years’ experience working in a managerial position. It’s a great opportunity for a candidate to make their own mark and build a finance function from scratch, utilising their best practice experience from a previous corporate.
The Commercial Financial Controller will work with a high degree of autonomy, responsible for the division and reporting to group. They will work closely with a talented Managing Director and there will be numerous projects in the coming years to keep this an interesting and engaging role for the right candidate; and there will certainly be longer term opportunities for further career progression.

Please note this role requires:
- Qualified CIMA / ACCA with at least 5 years post qualified experience
- Experience of working in both a large business and SME background, ideally a traditional industrial industry
- Candidates must have both technical and commercial experience to apply for this role
- At least 3 days working in the office
