I am now delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a Part Time Management Accountant to join a highly successful family owned SME with beautiful offices based in North Yorkshire - the offices are easily accessible from Harrogate ad surrounding, Wetherby or York.
This is a newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will take responsibility for assisting in producing the monthly management accounts, P&L, budgets and forecasts, as well as overseeing the Accounts Assistant.
The business is offering flexibility on the hours/days, but ideally looking for someone to work 4 days doing 9.30-2.30.
**This opportunity would be ideally suited to someone who is fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA who enjoys a a varied role and hands on role within a fast paced SME environment looking for a reduced hours role***

- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Month end journal postings
- Balance sheets reconciliations
- VAT returns – preparation & submission
- Responsibility for the sales invoice & credit control processes as and when required
- Monthly P&L
- Cashflow management including cashflow forecasting
- Supporting trainee staff member on use of system & correct accounting treatment
The successful candidate will:
- Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified - Essential
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar management accounts/finance manager role - Essential
- Have previous experience of Sage - Desirable
- Have good communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with non finance and stakeholders - Essential
