Management Accountant | Rochdale | £45,000 - £50,000 | 35 hour week - 5 days in office
Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a hugely successful, market leading £250m turnover business in Rochdale looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their team on a full time permanent basis.

Taking ownership of a £30m division and reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Taking ownership of a £30m division and reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Ownership of accounting for 34 sites within the division
- Lead the processing and production of monthly management accounts including production of P&L, balance sheets, cash and business forecasts and related analysis
- Acting as a key business partner for the Managing Director of the division
- Prepare budgets including scenario planning and independent challenge. Roll out the approved budgets and ensure the operational team have a full understanding of financial expectations
- Have a focus on controls and improving efficiencies within the Finance department
- Responsibility for balance sheet, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Implementation and regular review of balance sheet reconciliations and controls
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) / QBEs will be considered however not active studiers
- Stock, product costings experience is highly desirable
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach
- The ability to create effective working relationships quickly
- Excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, look-ups and various formulae
