Group Financial Controller

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a leading PE-Backed Multinational Services business as they embark on a search for a new Group Financial Controller.
Reporting to the Group CFO, the Group Financial Controller will be responsible for the key financial and accounting functions, will be a member of the Exec Team, and be a key contributor and driver of the upcoming finance transformation project.
The exceptional Group Financial Controller will work closely with the Group CFO and Board, driving financial performance and growth by providing financial guidance and leadership to the business.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Operational Excellence: Lead the accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Be a key business partner, confidant to the Group CFO
- Strategic Vision: Drive the implementation of forward-thinking business plans. Overseeing reward and incentive schemes to drive growth
- Develop comprehensive and leading accounting policies, processes and procedures required to maintain a strong control environment.
- Responsibility for the consolidation and timely and accurate preparation of the Group financial reporting, including:
- Monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reporting to local authorities and Group.
- Liaison with external auditors, preparation and management of audit processes and sign off of respective management representations
- Manage key financial relationships: Auditors, Regulators, etc
- Working together with Commercial Finance/FP&A and the Exec board on monthly reporting and business performance.
- Identify and lead improvement in management of capital investment pipeline and projects – taking a whole of business approach
- Corporate oversight and control of Group Assets.
- The GFC will have direct responsibility for: Group Financial Reporting, Group Capital, and Technical Accounting
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance position.
- Experience in managing the finance function of a fast-paced, growing company Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve success.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed financial targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Data analysis skills and the ability to review and analyse metrics to drive decision-making.
