Axon Moore have been retained by a successful service provider based in Leeds city centre to hire a Group Financial Controller.
Backed by a leading PE investor, the organisation have ambitious plans for growth. Through growth comes opportunity, they are looking to add a credible and charismatic Group Financial Controller to lead the finance team.
Based in Leeds city centre, a true CV builder of a role focusing on driving the numbers, being the number 2 in finance and supporting future acquisitions. This will be a significant role to step you into a future Finance Director role and work and develop under an excellent CFO.
Core Responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly consolidated financial information including consolidated management accounts
• Managing the Group’s rolling cash flow
• Coordinating the preparation of the annual Group budget update
• Coordinating the completion of the annual audit and statutory financial statements across the group, including on a consolidated basis
• Management and delivery of ad-hoc financial and business projects as agreed with the CFO
To be considered for the role you must be:
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Appropriate technical experience of financial and statutory reporting
• Track record of improving and developing financial reporting processes in a fast-paced environment
• A strong people manager
