Finance Manager l South Manchester + Hybrid | ACCA/ CIMA Qualified | Highly acquisitive Financial Services
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are exclusively working alongside an outstanding, fast paced and highly acquisitive organisation based in South Manchester who are looking for a Finance Manager to join in a new role.
On the back of several acquisitions, the organisation has now secured significant investment as they look to continue their exciting journey with this role playing a key part of the development of the finance function. The position will report directly to a high calibre Finance Director, receiving mentorship to develop a career in an organisation that has untapped potential.
It is a fast paced, and autonomous position that can really define the next stage of someone’s career as you will be managed by a high calibre team.
Salary: £50,000-£60,000
Location: South Manchester (4 days in the office, moving to 3 days)
Benefits: 25 days annual leave, 10% discretionary bonus, health care plan, Birthday off

- Financial Due Diligence of potential acquisitions.
- Ownership of the monthly management accounts.
- Monitoring business performance through financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Full responsibility of the day-to-day finance function, including managing 1 member of staff.
- Production of the monthly Board packs.
- Responsible for all tax compliance.
- Manage the payroll, pensions, and benefits process.
- Support post acquisition implementation.
- Identify efficiencies and process improvement.
- CIMA/ ACCA Qualified with experience working in an SME.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communicator, with the ability to work in a dynamic team.
- High level of organisation and project management skills.
- Advanced Excel skill set.
