Axon Moore has exclusively partnered with a rapidly-growing organisation based in Blackburn as they continue to expand their operations by seeking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team.
You will be responsible for analysing and maintaining key financial data such as the accuracy of accruals and prepayments as well as other management accounts transactions. You will also be supporting with the review of commercial and other financial performance against budgets and forecasts
This is a fantastic opportunity which will provide additional support due to growth within the business and this role is to further strengthen the finance function in line with its growth plans for the next five years.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supporting with monthly management accounts
- Accountable for delivering key month end tasks to the pre-determined timetable
- Effective cash collection, monitoring and reporting of certain accounts receivable
- Ownership of accruals/prepayments in relation to overheads
- Depreciation, WIP & Fixed asset processes
- Raising finance PO’s including check relevant approvals and nominal checks
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany postings and reconciliation
- Support with ad-hoc projects and audit
- Supporting/coordinating internal meetings with various teams
- Accounts receivable mailbox management
- Positive and flexible approach to work and challenges
- High attention to detail
- Clear communication across functions and externally
- Preparation of accruals/prepayments
- Understanding of month end processes and efficient management of time
- Ability to work independently
- Relevant accounting knowledge
