Accounts Assistant 12 Month FTC | £25,000 – £28,000 | Blackburn + Hybrid | Contract-to-Perm | Great team and working culture
Axon Moore have partnered with a fantastic company in Blackburn which has witnessed significant growth in recent years and, as such, are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant capable of adding value to the business.
This role will be well suited to an experienced and personable candidate who possesses exceptional organisational, numerical and computer skills, is able to communicate confidently and is capable of building long-lasting working relationships.
The role will be to cover a period of maternity, but there is promise that a permanent position will be offer to a candidate after the 12 month contract has ended.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cash allocation and postings
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Query resolution and escalations
- Submitting credits and invoices
- Reconciling and posting invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing credit notes
- Monitor the shared mailboxes
- Investigate any debit balances or aged balances on the ledger
- Ad hoc duties as required
- At least one years’ experience in a similar role
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable and flexible nature.
