Last week several from Axon Moore were delighted to attend the 10th annual Made in Manchester Awards. The prestigious awards were bigger than ever this year, with some fantastic entertainment and sold out crowd of Manchester’s finest.
Two of our brilliant Business Managers, Joe Develing and Danny Kay were nominated for the ‘Recruitment/Talent Professional’ award. There were 4 senior level decision makers who interviewed and deliberated using uniquely tailored questions for each category, after which the shortlisted are interviewed individually to decide on a winner.
We are so pleased to announce that the winner of the ‘Recruitment/Talent Professional’ award went to our very own Joe Develing! Joe has gone from strength to strength since starting with the business in 2017 and seeing him get some well-deserved recognition has been a joy for Axon Moore.
Here’s what the judges had to say about Joe:
“What we really liked about Joe was his dedication to his work and how he marries his values with work and his values in life. Joe is dedicated to improving people’s lives through their jobs, and you can see that in how he lives his life as well. He’s very dedicated to Axon Moore, staying there and developing through the ranks, but also his focus is on finding the right people and the right jobs. Whilst he is dedicated to his career, he is also really dedicated to his family.”
Joe discusses what this award meant for him below:
“Receiving the Recruitment Professional of the Year award was certainly a surprise, and something I am immensely proud of. Recruitment is an industry with plenty of highs and lows, and I am proud of the work we do to support those looking for new, and often life changing opportunities. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have since sent me messages of support, I have found it to be a very humbling experience.
Whilst this was an individual reward, it would be inappropriate of me to not mention the support I have received from Aaron Conneran and Danny Kay who support me in the Qualified market across Manchester. I truly believe we have an outstanding team that is only going from strength to strength, and I am excited to see how we can keep pressing forward across 2023.”
