Financial Controller

My exclusive client, an extremely high growth Group in the Bolton area are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Financial Controller on a full time, permanent basis.
Having recently received further investment, the business is set to continue its growth plans through 2025 and beyond.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, a passion for adding value and “going the extra mile”, challenging where necessary, and working to drive forward ongoing improvement across the organisation.
There is significant scope to put your own stamp on any established procedures and reporting. Guided and mentored by the experienced Group FC & CFO, the development opportunities are significant. You will business partner the GFC and the Operations Director with direct exposure to the Chief Exec.

- A commercially astute, technically strong accountant with the drive and ambition to operate at both strategic and operational levels with the support from the GFC and CFO.
- A willingness to roll their sleeves up and undertake day to day finance activities
- A genuine desire to actively contribute new ideas and initiatives across the business
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact appropriately with individuals at every level of the business and successfully manage external relationships
- High energy, passion and drive to succeed
- Excellent excel skills are a must.
- Results-focussed and able to constructively challenge ideas
- Strong and robust personality with the ability to honestly and openly express and defend views, alongside willingness to listen to contrasting views.
